How much compensation can I claim for whiplash from a hit and run car accident?

I was hit from behind by a dangerous driver and they did not stop to check on me or share and swap details.

I have reported this to the police and they investigating the incident and I have a crime reference number.

I have had whiplash for about 5 weeks now, can you tell me what the average MIB pay out for this would be?
