The claims limitation period for making a medical negligence claim is the same as the personal injury claims time limit. To break this down:
- You have 3 years from the date of the negligent act to make a claim
- Or 3 years from the date you obtained knowledge that you were suffering from an illness that you know was at least partially the fault of the defendant.
