Would I still be able to make a claim for work related injuries after 2 years?

Hello, I have suffered work related injuries and want to know how much compensation I could be entitled to?

I was employed as a cleaner for Discount Store and His I burnt my hands very bad with a sulphuric acid cleaner and had two major operations but it was over 2 years ago can I make claim?

I was provided with the cleaner by the store but they did not provide me with the appropriate gloves or personal protective equipment, I was unsure about whether it would be safe to use the cleaning liquid or not but I felt worried about being sacked and the managers put everyone under a lot of unnecessary pressure.

Since I suffered the burns I have been out of work and in and out of the doctors, the burns have left unsightly scars all over my hands which I am very conscious and ashamed of, the whole ordeal has made me very depressed, would I be able to claim compensation for depression as well as burns?

Thank you for any legal help Pat
