Taxi accident, trip and fall severely broke my leg, was cab drivers fault, how much can I claim?

I was in a taxi accident where I was severely injured through no fault of my own.
I believe the cab driver was responsible for me falling out of the taxi and breaking my leg because of his thoughtless driving and poor customer service.

We live in the country side and have to travel up a long pitch dark drive with no street lights we had a taxi and we told him to pull on drive and he just ignored us and didnt, instead he pulled on grass verge, with no room to walk on the side, or any space to open a car door to get out because of the dense bushes, I opened the taxi door as much as I could to squeeze, put one leg on floor and tripped on the uneven surface and fell and landed badly and the fallout broke my leg.

The driver got out to help me and called me an ambulance but really I wouldn't have hurt my self if he hadn't been so rude, so I want to sue him and the taxi company for my personal injuries?

How much could I claim for such a severe injury, I was in hospital for a long time and on crutches still, I think the business should pay out a lot for my damages.

Many thnaks
