I am a victim of a sexual assault, it has not gone to court yet or anything but could I get compensation back from all this it is very hard for me now to get through each day and it is so emotionally draining dealing with the thoughts, memories and trauma of the incident.
It was only last Saturday this incident happened, is this too early for me to sign with a no win no fee solicitor?
I have contacted the police and made a full report about the incident but at present they are just investigating, they have spoken to the culprit but not yet made an arrest, would I need to wait for the other party to be prosecuted as a criminal for the assault before I can make a claim?
It is still a bit too raw for me to go into the details of how or what happened when he attacked me to be honest, I am not thinking straight but I am unable to think of much else so I would like to know how much compensation I could be entitled to for sexual assault.
