Hello I need help making a claim for compensation for a sexual assault, what do I need to do?
If someone is sexually abused do they get compensation for damages?
It was not me who was assaulted it was, my daughter but she is only a young child and wouldn't be able to handle a legal case, can I claim compensation on behalf of my daughter?
We found out about the ending of last year when she told us at the end of the month about the assault which took place earlier that month when she was walking through a park with her friends as it was getting dark.
The police have been informed and we have made a full report, they are currently investigating the case and are looking for three young males but have made no arrests.
How does this work, do we need a conviction?
