How much compensation can I claim for a broken knee cap from a slip and fall in a Supermarket?

I slipped and fell in a supermarket super store and broke my knee cap, had an operation to wire and screw back together.
I reported the incident in the accident book and had to go to hospital in an ambulance.

There were no wet floor signs but I slipped on a spillage, a spilled liquid from a customer, can I still claim compensation from the supermarket?
