The other driver is at fault, I was slowing down as I came to some amber traffic lights at a junction and zebra crossing, the car behind must have been driving carelessly because the driver did not slow down for the lights like they should have and went right into the back of me.
We both pulled over and they were polite enough, they apologised to me and admitted liability and even suggested I put a claim in for compo when I told them my back was hurt.
There was no damage to my car from the crash but I jerked my spine as I was not expecting the collision, I hurt my lower back and neck and have not been able to work for a week now.
I went to see my GP when my neck was stiff and aching and my lower back was in pain, he diagnosed me with whiplash and gave me a 3 week prognosis.
