Can I claim for an accident on a pre booked excursion on a package holiday?

Me and my family went on an all inclusive package holiday with Jet 2 Holidays to Tenerife, we were booked to go paragliding at the beach on the sea that was organised by the travel agent, while parasailing I came down and hit the water hard, I have been suffering back and neck pain and stiffness like whiplash, can I claim compensation from the tour operator for an accident on a parasailing excursion trip?
